Who eats gold?  It is a thing, and your RV navigators had the opportunity to give gold a try during their trip to Japan.  Japan is full of interesting cultural adventures from drumming to Geisha to paper making to bonsai and then there is gold leaf making.  Of course, gold leaf is primarily used for covering art objects to make them appear to be gold, but another option is ingesting - which we tried.

This plus the returning back to Chicago via a repositioning cruise is on this months agenda. We sailed on a new line for us, Oceania on their ship, Riviera.  It is a 1200 passenger (medium sized) that is adults only.  We were favorably impressed by the ship, crew and line.  This itinerary left from Tokyo, did 3 ports in Japan, 7 days at sea, and 5 ports in Alaska for 20 total days.
