Episode 239 Web links

March, 2025

Just another month stuck in FL -LOL.  Your RV Navigators have had several interesting RV projects in the works from getting new RV insurance to looking a new hot skin devices for RVs to speculating about the staff cuts at National Parks. What does the new T-Mobile Starlink direct to cell service mean for the average cell user?  These an many other topics are covered in this months episode.  Join us and then make a comment.

Have you experienced RV hot skin (a tingling sensation when you touch your RV)?  New hardware called a GMI is due to be installed on all new RVs (30 & 50 amp) but can you install one on your current RV?  GMIs differ from Ground Fault Circuit Interrupters (GFCIs) in that they specifically ensure a proper ground exists rather than monitoring electrical current balance. This new requirement aims to address common safety issues such as damage to power cords and the use of adapters that can compromise electrical supply.

We are also concerned about the National Parks during the upcoming busy season when staffing will be reduced.  This is already impacting several parks during the slow season.

We share our thoughts on all of these and more topics

in this months episode - give us a listen.
