2018 begins in Las Vegas where we celebrate teh year end on Freemont St. The iconic LV was just too big for our tastes on NYE plus no entertainment and only 8 minutes of fireworks at midnight just didn’t make it appealing. For $35 we entered LV downtown (Freemont St) with bands and other visual entertainment so it was much more festive. All of this was after flying back to our motorhome which was parked in LV for 5 weeks at a campground 15 minutes from the LV action. We’ll be on the road again soon. As we head for even warmer weather in the south. Yes, LV is very warm - in summer. Winter temps run in the 50 during the day, so Tucson’s 70s is better. We did of course experience lots of cold in Chicago. The morning we flew to LV it was -5F at home. It was a pleasure to disembark to 60 degrees on arrival.
While in LV, we’ll see some shows, visit with listeners, and catchup on the RV life that we left 5 weeks ago.
We are cleaning up the RVNavigator mail box of topics this month with a bit bubbly added.
